During the 2nd World War plenty of people from USSR were driven away to work in Germany and Austria where they had to toil without any respect to human dignity. Memories and stories of people disappear with them. If nothing is undertaken, soon nobody can hear truth about those hard times. In Konstantinovka (Ukraine), 3 diaries of former forced workers were discovered by accident, and inspired volunteers to collect and record more. This blog presents results of “Last prisoner story” project.
